24. Of all the poems you’ve written, which is your favorite?
"Ang Totoong Ikaw"
You can find it in my poetry page. It’s about loving someone despite their flaws.
25. What would have been your profession if you didn’t pursue your current career?
I honestly wasn’t sure—I wanted to do a lot of things. Haha.
26. One thing you regret not doing?
Voice or music lessons. My mom enrolled me in all sorts of summer programs—Karate, Painting, Kiddie Crew, Summer Classes, etc.—but I never had formal music training. I don’t blame my parents, and I’m grateful for all those experiences. I know I can still pursue it now, but time doesn’t really permit it.
27. What is your greatest fear?
Dying unprepared. It’s the thought of leaving my loved ones behind without having spent enough time with them, without having things ready for them. The question “Who’s going to do this for them when I’m gone?” haunts me. Also, the fear of not knowing what awaits after this life.
28. What’s your toxic trait?
I think too far ahead. It’s both a blessing and a curse. LOL. I’ve solved thousands of problems in my head that never even happened. It’s how we were raised—before going anywhere, I’ve already reviewed the streets on Google Maps, checked the nearest hospitals, listed the places I’ll go, planned the order, and timed each stop. But I can be fun too! I can do spontaneous naman din. It’s just that... efficiency is my middle name. Haha!
29. What are your pet peeves?
- People walking in groups that take up the whole public space—ikaw pa ang mahihiyang mag-excuse.
- Those who literally don’t wash their hands.
- Those who figuratively wash their hands.
- Sick people who don’t wear masks.
30. What are you most proud of about yourself?
My patience. People ask how I stay calm in situations where others would snap. It’s not that I suppress my emotions—I regulate them. Because really, what does snapping solve? But of course, there are limits. You shouldn’t tolerate disrespect either.
31. What does it feel like having seen the world in 31 years?
There’s a lot of crap happening in the world, but life goes on. You have to find ways to survive and lighten your load. So to answer the question: it’s stressful—but who isn’t stressed? Kaya heto ako, laban lang ng laban, na tila ipinaglihi sa sanggano. LOL.
I hope you won't ever use these facts against me. HAHA!
Thank you for dropping by and for spending time in reading my entries. Have a great weekend ahead. Love yah. xx
BTW!!! In part I of the NSFT series, I mentioned that if both the volleyball and basketball team won, I'd install the app my juniors have been wanting me to try. LOL. The basketball team lost 5 points to the champion, but got a trophy for being 1st runner up. Yay! Not yay that they lost but yay i don't have to install. Wheeeew!
