My love for decorating a space began when I was in college, 2011, I'd always move around pieces of furniture in my room and would make do of the items that I can find at home. I'd DIY and repurpose some items that aren't being used anymore because I didn't have the money to buy stuff. And now that I've already bought some stuff for my parents and for our house, I'd like to focus on redecorating my room, to make it cozy, while still avoiding stuff that would just gather dust and trigger allergic rhinitis. 😩 So no to plants and fluffy stuff. I'm not really into buying decors that have no purpose anyway. I'm trying to be a minimalist na. I have so much stuff that I should let go of na. I might have to Mari Kondo—thank you and goodbye, before putting up the stuff I bought. Pero shucks, I didn't document the unboxing. 😆 Sayang!
The construction of our home's second floor has been completed early this year and is a complete house on its own. I was supposed to move there to isolate from our pets, to lessen the background noise when recording and because the rooms and bathroom are bigger. The bathroom has a space for the bathtub I've been wanting to have. But we decided to save the rooms for guests and set up mom and dad's office/library there.
We've been hosting sleepovers since April. 🤍 Finally, after how many years of not having guests because we didn't have enough space. 🥹 Also, it's kinda hot there at daytime. I'd have to have the AC turned on the whole day. 😩 So yeah, I'll just stick with living at the ground floor. I have enough space naman in my room.
I'm super excited to share the "after" of the room makeover. Wag na siguro yung "before" because there's too much clutter. 😆 NakakaOC!
