Lee Dong Wook Gets It

My OG oppa Lee Dong Wook shared in an interview how he wants to be in a relationship but is too lazy to meet new people and go out on dates. And my reaction was, "OMG. FINALLYYYYY! SOMEONE SAID IT!" It's funny how when I was studying, I had the time and energy to date but when I graduated and started working, I'd rather stay home on my days off and rest. I mean, it's not like I want to be alone. I just believe that I don't need to be in a relationship to be happy or for my life to be complete. I am happy. I am okay. Bonus na lang kapag dumating yung right guy for me. Of course, iba pa rin yung may makakausap ka about your day, your rants, your beliefs, and may natututunan kayo sa isa't isa.

People have been pushing me to install dating apps but I just do not see the need to do so. I have nothing against such apps. I have friends who met their partners on dating apps and are now happily married with kids, but I just don't feel like doing it. This makes me wonder if it's just me being lazy or do I have unbelievably high standards? There have been a few attempts from guys I've known for quite a long time but I make sure to let them know that I do not see them that way and I won't be having constant conversations with anyone other than a potential boyfriend.  Like I'll just answer the kumustahan and end it there.  I also defer the invites to hangout and tell them I'd only agree to go if there will be other friends coming with us. LOL. Am I being rude or harsh? Well, for me, it's better to be honest than lead them on and confuse them. I also do not like sharing my personal life with just anybody. Understandable naman 'di ba? The things that I share here are just previews to my life.

Maybe it's a mix of both laziness and having high standards haha. Kapal ng mukha no? I'm striving naman to become the best version of myself... for me and for the future loml. Para it's a tie. LOL.

Thank you, Lee Dong Wook. Now I know that I am not the only one who feels that way. HAHAHA.
